Requirements for Windows

Web browser: latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge.
JavaScript and cookies must be enabled.
Access to https://www.action1.com.
Operating system:* Windows 8.1 or later
Memory: minimum 50 MB of available physical memory
Disk space: minimum 100 MB of free disk space
Protocols and ports required for Action1 operation are listed in the Firewall Configuration.
  • Action1 agent runs under Local System account.
  • Action1 agent installation requires administrative privileges.
  • Silent installation command should be run as administrator.
To avoid blocking Action1 services by your antivirus software, include the Action1 folder and the following files in the allowlist of your antivirus settings:
  • C:WindowsAction1
  • C:WindowsAction1action1_agent.exe
  • C:WindowsAction1action1_remote.exe
Windows PowerShell 5.1 or later is required for Action1 agent **

Action1 agent installation requires administrative privileges, so make sure your account is included in the Admin group on the endpoints you plan to manage.
To avoid blocking Action1 by your antivirus software, include the Action1 agent directory /usr/local/action1 in the allowlist of your antivirus settings.
Privacy & Security Settings: To download Action1 agent installation package, make sure that Security settings allow applications downloaded from App Store and identified developers.
